New Hero Arts Stamps

I went to the Hero Arts 2012 catalog debut party at Archiver's a few weeks ago and purchased one of the stamp sets with die cuts. I finally had a chance to do some crafting after the busy holidays and I made this card. I stamped the background with the Hero Arts Fabric stamp (love that stamp!)  After I stamped and die cut the flowers, I colored them with Copic markers. I'm going to submit this for the Hero Arts December contest. I used one of the sketches for this month's contest.

Thanks for dropping by. I hope you are recovering from the holidays.  :)

Moxie Fab World Challenge - Get Inspired!

I haven't played along with the challenges over at Moxie Fab World in awhile, so I decided to submit something for the Get Inspired by Home Decor  challenge. Here is my card. I know Earth Day isn't until April, but I couldn't resist. :)

Not much else to report. Still working on getting ready for Christmas. I hope you are enjoying the pre-holiday frenzy.

It's Beginning to Look Like Christmas.....

Hi there. I've been working on my Christmas cards. On this first one I used the Hero Arts stamp and Sizzix embossing folder combo. Love the way it creates that perfect background.

On this second card, I used a Hero Arts stamp from last year. I love this tree stamp. I paired it with some Basic Grey paper and used Copic markers to color in the ornaments then added som pearls and gems. I like the way it turned out. :)

Are you still working on your Christmas/holiday cards, or are you all done already?

Background Stamps

I love the Hero Arts' background stamps and this is one of my favs. You don't need to add much more to finish up the card. I heat embossed it in white and then added TH distress inks to give it color. I also added a couple sprays of Perfect pearls to give it the perfect shine. :)   Thanks for dropping by.
