Pagemaps Sketch Challenge

I decide to create this layout for the Pagemaps blog sketch challenge.  The challenge was to create a page about appreciation that was based on the sketch (see below) and included journaling.  This is a picture of me and my husband on our 13th anniversary last year.

And here is a close up of the journaling.

The sketch and the prize are shown below. I love to have a sketch to work from which is why I love the Pagemaps blog! I have the book too.  I used Basic Grey paper and bling, Making Memories letters, K & Company borders, Hero Arts pearl hearts and created my own chipboard hearts. Thanks for dropping by!

Fishes come true...

This is my first "window" card.  I cut out the center square with a craft knife and then stamped the fish from the Hero Arts Oceans of Joy stamp set on the inside of the card. I colored the fish and then added some sparkle to his fins. I used the Ranger distress inks for the outside of the card. Thanks for stopping by!

I created this mini card for the challenge on the CARDS blog this week. I used Basic Grey and Bazzill paper and Hero Arts stamps. This card  is 3x3 inches. The owl is popdotted so it has some dimension. TFL!

Spike - Jane's digi images

I created these cards using one of Jane's digi images. He's called Spike. I printed the images, colored them with markers, cut them out and used my new nesties labels die cut for backgrounds with my very favorite paper, Basic Grey. I'm obsessed with Basic Grey paper! :)  I also used a Jillibean journaling sprout on the pink card. And I used Hero Arts stamps for the greetings on all the cards. You can see more of Jane's digi images here. Thanks for dropping by!

Simon Says Stamp Challenge & Pink Poppies

The Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is using the theme of Mother's Day/Girly for their current challenge so I decided to submit this card for it. It contains lots of girly pink!  I embossed the Hero Arts poppy stamp with white on pink distressed Basic Grey paper (which is why you can see the lines in the big flower), then I used colored pencils to shade the flowers. tfl!

supplies: Hero Arts Poppy stamp (CG140), Basic Grey paper, Hero Arts buttons, Fiskars punch, American Craft ribbon
