A2Z Scrapbooking Design Team

Hello! I'm very excited to announce that I will be joining the a2z Scrapbooking Design Team.

I'm thrilled to have this great opportunity and I hope you'll head over to their blog to check it out.

Also, they have a wonderful online store that carries so many awesome Hero Arts products, including digital products!  And the good news is that you can use this code (Kathy15) to get a 15% off discount. You can't beat that, right?  They have some of my very favorite stamps, including the OWH Missing You set, the OWH You're a Rainbow set and the Tag Collage set. Oh and they should be getting the die cuts for the Missing You set soon! Can't wait to order them.

Thanks for dropping by and happy shopping! :)

Chemistry

I made this card awhile ago and realized I had not shared it on the blog yet. This Lawn Fawn Science of Love set makes me smile. I made this card for my hubby.

Hope you're having a good weekend. We've been busy with lots of family activities so I'm just popping in quickly to say hi!!

Heart Parade

Have you seen the Heart Parade die from Simon Says Stamp?  I love this die! I made a couple cards using this die and the die cut inlay technique. Here is what I came up with.

I also used DCWV Glitter card stock for the hearts. I really like this paper because you get the awesome look of glitter without all the mess.  :)

I hope you're having a great week and thanks for stopping by!

ABNH Challenge #47 Color It In

It's been a long time since I've played along with A Blog Named Hero challenge so I thought I'd give it a shot. The challenge is: Color It In.

I created this card using one of my favorite Hero Arts (OWH) stamp sets called Missing You and also used a Paper Smooches set called Warm Hearts for the trees. I colored the bird and trees with Copics. I used glitter paper to create the wire that the bird is resting on. I also added glossy accents to the bird's beak and eyes, as well as to the heart on the tree.

Have you played along with the challenge yet? I hope so!
