Make-it + Mail-it challenge!

A very sweet online friend of mine sent me this background stamp last week (Thanks Tiffany!!) and I decided to try it out this weekend.  I combined it with an older flower stamp set from Hero Arts. The colors on this card definitely remind me of spring. :)  I used Jenni Bowlin's inks for this. This is the first time I've used them and they are great!

Lisa Spangler has a new challenge on her blog called Make-it + Mail-it. Have you seen it yet? I'm going to enter this card in Lisa's challenge and then go mail it.  :)

supplies: Hero Arts stamps and pearls, Basic Grey paper, leaf and flower, American Crafts lace, Jenni Bowlin inks

Moxie Fab World Challenge - In My Beautiful Balloon

I created a quick Easter card and am entering it in the In My Beautiful Balloon challenge over at the Moxie Fab World blog.  I used the hot air balloon stamps from PapertreyInk and all the other stamps are from Hero Arts. I used distress inks for the background and used Copic markers to color in the balloons, grass, flowers, and bunny. Thanks for stopping by!  :)

Earth Day

Every year I send one of my sisters a card for Earth Day (it's on 4/22). She and her husband are both environmentalists and work in that field. Here is the card I made for them this year.  I love the tree patterned paper. I used a Hero Arts stamp for the background with distress ink. This card actually looks better in real life. :)

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're having a great day!  Have you  made your Earth Day card yet?  :)

Stamp Layering

I don't think I've posted this card yet.  I used the technique called stamp layering on this. I used a couple different Hero Arts stamps and also distress inks.  This card is fairly flat so it's a good card to mail.  Don't have much else to say about it. :)

As always, thanks for dropping by!  :)

Spring and butterflies...

I'm so ready for Spring, but it doesn't seem to be cooperating with me.  :)  It's been in the 40s this week. I created this card to lift my spirits and pretend that Spring has sprung. I used all Basic Grey papers and the Martha Stewart butterfly punch. I used a Hero Arts background cling stamp and a HA stamp for the greeting too.

Hope it's Spring where you are! Have a great weekend!
