Flowers for Friends

Quick post today. Come to think of it, it seems that I always say that and I'm not sure why because almost all of my posts are quick. :)  I got this new Hero Arts stamp and decided to make a quick card. I stamped and embossed it with black Zing embossing powder on kraft paper. I then used colored pencils to color in the flowers. I love the way the white shows up on kraft. I added a sentiment from an older Hero Arts set and then stamped the grass using a chalk ink. Then I added Hero Arts gems and pearls and called it done. I'm thinking of entering it in the Hero Arts contest this month.

Hope you're having a great Sunday! Are you voting for the Steelers or the Packers?

supplies: Hero Arts stamps, gems, pearls, kraft paper, colored pencils, fiskars border punch

  1. Kathy, those primary colors look so beautiful on the kraft! Gorgeous card!

  2. So pretty, Kathy! Love the colors against kraft....

  3. Beautiful! Love your coloring with the pencils! Love this! When it was just DH and I, football was really our thing, but now I don't even have time for in my later years. hehe!

  4. Love this card Kathy! I thought about getting this stamp today at Archivers, but they were sold out. Love how it looks on the Kraft paper with the colors you used!
