I made this layout of one of my nephews. I have lots of nieces and nephews! I saw this idea of a question and answer scrapbook layout on Nichol Magouirk's blog. My nephew, Luke, answered all the questions. He is 6 years old and that's why I titled it: My Life @ 6. I used Basic Grey paper, EK Success punch and the Slice for the white tags. I also used the Cuttlebug for the embossed numbers at the bottom in blue and I painted chipboard letters for the title. I painted them in blue to match his Colts jersey in the pic. Do you remember what your favorite toy was when you were 6? :-) If so, leave me a comment. I'd love to hear about it.
supplies: Basic Grey Cupcake paper, EK Success punch, the Slice, Cuttlebug, chipboard, Folk Art paint
Wonderful layout,Kathy! What a terrific idea to pose the questions for the journaling, I love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid when I was 6 (during the dark ages of the 60s) my favorite toy (when I wasn't playing with my brother's Lincoln Logs or Tinker Toys) was my Chatty Kathy doll. Thanks for the trip down memory lane
bless you,
nancy
this is fabulous, kathy! I love reading his answers to the questions! great layout. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is so cute, Kathy! I love the way you painted the letters to match your nephew's jersey! So funny when he answered that Hawaii is always sandy!! Made me giggle! I guess I always loved playing with my Barbie Dolls! The girls in the neighbor hood would bring them all to my house and we'd play for hours! :)
