New Stamps - Flowers and more flowers....

I was given some "oh so pretty" Hero Arts stamps for my birthday this month. Thank you to my sweet in-laws! Once I received these in the mail, I just had to ink them up and get to making cards!  Here's what I came up with. I used the wood block Flower Medley stamp with Zing embossing powder for this first card. Then I colored in the flowers with Copic markers.

And for this card, I used the wood block Dogwood stamp.  I stamped and colored with Copic markers and then cut the flowers out and pop-dotted them to add some dimension to the card. I purposely left the sentiments off of these cards so I can use them for whatever comes up (birthday, thank you, cards for friends, etc.)

I have entered these cards into Jenny's challenge here: Wee Memories Flowers Challenge
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're having a great day!

supplies: Hero Arts stamps: Dogwood and Flower Medley, Zing embossing powder, Bazzill yellow dotted swiss paper, Nestabilities Label 1.

  1. These are both so beautiful and perfectly springy! I just adore that yellow!

  2. I was JUST playing the same stamp ( on the first card) last night....yours turn out so beautiful!! I also love the Dogwood card. Yummy color combo!!

  3. Oooooohhh!!! Very pretty, Kathy!
I love your coloring and color choices!
    Both cards are just gorgeous!

Sometimes I purposely leave sentiments off my cards too. It allows you to have more options on what to use it for later!

Heyyy... maybe you should enter these cards in the "Flowers" theme challenge that I did my card for my post today! These would both be great!... Just a thought! :)
I think the last day to submit is today!

Great work!... And by the way... Happy Belated Birthday! :)

  4. Great cards love them!! Thanks for playing... please make sure you provide a link to my challenge on this post with your cards you entered for your entry to count. Thank you!! :D Have a happy Friday!

  5. Oh Kathy, both of these are super great! Love the happy sunny flowers, and the dogwood looks so elegant. :)
