Flowers and hugs...

Hi friends. Here is a card that I created using all Hero Arts stamps. I actually used 5 different stamps on this card! I stamped the Friend definition background stamp on the HA notecard (very hard to see in the photo though). Then I stamped the Dots backgrounds stamp and leaves from the Be Yourself set in HA shadow ink on kraft paper. I stamped the flower from the Big Flowers Pattern set and colored it with Copic markers. To finish it off I used one of the greetings from the Truly Appreciated stamp set. So there you have it, 5 stamps on one card.  :)  (Can you tell that I *heart* Hero Arts?)  Have you used 5 sets on one card before?  Thanks for stopping by and for leaving such kind comments!  I really appreciate them! I love Palm Trees...

I love palm trees and I love this Hero Arts new stamp set called Let's Chill. I created this card for the Hero Arts June challenge on their blog. I added some highlights to the coconuts with a white ink pen. I also used Basic Grey paper...again! and a Cuttlebug embossing folder for the dotted background. I also added HA gems to the flip flops. :)  I thought the Palm tree was big enough and cute enough to be the focal point of the card. Thanks for dropping by. I appreciate all of your kind comments!

Garden Bouquet

I picked up this Hero Arts stamp at Archivers (with a coupon, yah!). I used different colored TH distress inks to ink it up. I really like these distress inks! I also used a bit of Perfect Pearls, but it's hard to tell in the photo. Then I used my Cuttlebug and Nesties to cut it out. Not sure what I'm going to use this for so I left off the sentiment again.  I'm not sure I like the orange cardstock, but I'm not going to re-do it now. :)  Thanks for visiting my blog! Up, Up and Away!

Another balloon card. I'm having fun playing with this new stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I used their die cuts and my Cuttlebug to cut out the clouds and the balloons. I then used Tim Holtz tumbled glass distress ink to ink the edges of the clouds and I colored the balloons with Copic markers. I used a circle punch to make the hills at the bottom of the card. I purposely left the sentiment off because I'm not sure what I'm going to use this card for yet. Thanks for dropping by. I hope you're getting some time to be creative and stamp this weekend!  :)

Balloons and windows...

I created this card for the CARDS blog challenge. This week's challenge was to make a card with a window. I just received these new hot air balloon stamps from Papertrey Ink and had to try them out. I love hot air balloons, so when I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to have it. This was my first order from Papertrey Ink and I already love everything about these stamps. I haven't tried the die cuts yet, but that will be next!  Anyway, here is my card. Update: I was so honored to see that the CARDS blog featured it today!
