Fall Colors

I just realized I haven't posted for quite some time. Life has been busy, so I'll keep this short. I made this card for the Fall card exchange on the Hero Arts flickr group. I used distress inks with perfect pearls to paint the autumn trees and give them a sparkly shine. I colored the house with Copic markers.

Hope you're having a great Fall so far. :)

Not What I Imagined...

Do you ever have an idea in your head and then your card turns out nothing like you imagined?  :)  Well, that's what happened to me on this card.  I'm still working on some Fall/Thanksgiving cards and was playing with distress inks. The leaves are pop-dotted for extra dimension. Also, the flower and brad look better in real life than in the photo. Do you think I should leave it on or remove it?

Hope you're having a great weekend! Don't you just love the weekend?  :)
