I Love Owls

I've said this before,but I'm going to say it again. This Hero Arts Missing You (OWH) stamp set is one of my favs! I think all the images are adorable, especially the owl. I colored the owls with Copic markers and then added them on top of the Lawn Fawn paper. Simple, but I still like it.  :)  Have you heard that Hero Arts is making dies for this set now? I can't wait to order them!

Hello Sunshine!

Wow, I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted. Apparently I've been neglecting the poor ol' blog.  :) 

This was a quick and simple card to make. Not much to say about it, other than I used some Lawn Fawn paper for the tag and both the greeting and sun are from a Simon Says Stamp Rainbow Pure Sunshine set.

I was thinking of my nephew when I made this card because he's always smiling. Here is a pic of his adorable sunshiney face.  :)

Sunflowers - Part 2

Hello! Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted something. I've been so busy lately that I haven't had much time for making cards. I made a couple more sunflower cards a while ago but had not posted them yet. I really love this Lawn Fawn set and decided to try the sunflowers in purple. :)  I colored them with Copic markers. I used an older Hero Arts set called Sending Smiles for the watering can and gardening tool.

I also had more sunflowers that I had colored earlier, so I made another card. I was trying to use up some of the leftovers that I had on my desk -- which included a strip of paper that I had embossed with embossing paste and a stencil.

Sunflowers - Part 1

I ordered the Lawn Fawn Our Friendship Grows stamp set a few weeks ago. As soon as it came in the mail, I started creating!  It's great that the set comes with different sizes of sunflowers and leaves. I used Copic markers to color the flowers and vase. I also love that this set comes with matching dies - makes it so easy!

On this next card, I used a Studio Calico stencil for the background with distress inks. I decided to leave the greeting off the front of the card and just put one inside instead.

More Birthdays!

I made this card for my sister-in-law. I still love this Hero Arts balloon. It's one of my favorite stamps. I added glossy accents to really make it pop. The background paper is from Lawn Fawn's Hello Sunshine collection. Perfect for birthdays!

Wow, I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted a card. It's been a busy month! Anyway, I'm just popping in really quickly to post an Easter card that I made for my youngest nephew. He's only 21 months. :)

You're Tops in My Book

Just popping in today to quickly share a card. I bought this Lawn Fawn Science of Love stamp set and the matching dies. I love that it comes with so many cute, smaller images and several greetings too! I made this card for my nephew.
