Hero Arts August Contest

I submitted this card for the Hero Arts August Contest....just in the knick of time!  :) I used one of the August sketches and turned it upside down...sort of. I used the die cut flower from the Bold Pops set to make the petals and the Word Art birthday stamp for the center of the flower. I love this new Basic Grey cupcake and arrow paper too. I was trying to go for a CAS card, but not sure it's CAS enough.

What do you think? Is this considered a CAS card or not so much?  :)

ABNH Challenge #10

The new challenge over at A Blog Named Hero is to created a project incorporating kraft.

I decided to use white ink on kraft to create my flower. I also used a piece of Basic Grey patterned paper with a kraft background. All the stamps are from Hero Arts.

CASology Challenge #5 Pond

I created this card for the CASology challenge this week. The cue word this week is Pond.

When I think of a pond, I think of frogs and this is the only frog stamp I have. Wish I had a turtle too. This frog is supposed to look like he's jumping from the pond, but I'm not sure he does.  Anyway, I used all Hero Arts stamps and some of their shadow inks too.

A Cut Above

I took the online card class from Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner called A Cut Above awhile ago and it inspired me to make this card. I love how it turned out. :)
